You know that backlink from certain domains have the better quality rather than other domains. For examples are domain with .edu, .gov, and .ac extensions. If you lucky to get the backlink from those mentioned websites (which have related topics with yours, of course), absolutely your website's Pagerank and SERP will be increased. The problem is, it's not easy to get the backlink from there (that is why I use the word "Lucky" at previous sentence).

Factually, there is an easy way to get the backlink from those exclusive domains by search on blogs which hosted there and which give an access to post some comments for their articles. We can exploit Google Search for this purpose.

For example, let us look for the .EDU's blogs which tell about "pocket pc".

1. Open Google's website in your browser (http://www.google.com)
2. Use the following query:

site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"comments closed" -"you must be logged in" "pocket pc"

3. In the result pages, you have to check them out. Find Blogs which have not apply the "nofollow" attribute for links in their commenting system.
4. Once you find them, just make any comments to their posts. Do not forget to leave your website's link. Also, make your comments relevant with the posts, so they've never been marked as spams.

This is so easy, is not this? You can also make the query for other domains, like .gov and .ac, just by replace the text ".edu" in your query with domain extension you want to searching for.
